A little mystery. A clear purpose.

The North Pole Christmas party is nearly ready—but the party supplies have disappeared! Seven elves explain what they were doing, and your students must examine their stories and follow the evidence.

Across seven tasks, students decode past-tense verbs, sort regular and irregular forms, solve picture riddles, search two illustrated Christmas scenes, build sentences and questions, work through a grammar maze, and read Finn’s party note. Story discoveries reveal the elves’ activities and provide clues for the final mystery challenge.

Teachers activate the mission with the code supplied with their purchase, then generate a classroom code from the teacher dashboard. Students join with a classroom code and nickname or team name; no student email is required. Teachers can monitor progress and choose an optional time limit.

Allow about 30–40 minutes, depending on reading level and pace. Use a desktop computer, laptop, Chromebook, or compatible tablet in landscape with an internet connection. Gameplay is not designed for phones. Printable practice worksheets and answer keys extend the learning after the online investigation.
